顺唐巷4号
——调寄【沁园春】

高 昌

小院葱茏，
满室阳光，
和合一家。
趁桃枝香溢，
轻移倩影；
椿条雨润，
漫吐清芽。
甜蜜情怀，人生如许，
每寸光阴都是花。
趁晴朗，
选竹清梧碧，共坐尝瓜。

牵牛缠满篱笆，
说到底、冰霜一任他。
数星披月戴，
忙时稻粟；
天荒地老，闲处烟霞。
人海喧嚣，红尘扰攘，
莫叹真情薄透纱。
童话境，
有初心无垢，美玉无瑕。

GAO Chang was born in 1967 in Xinji, Hebei Province. He entered the Youth Poetry Society of the Poetry Magazine with his new style of poetry, and joined that of the Chinese Poetry Magazine with his classical poetry. He is currently the editor of Chinese Poetry, the director of the Special Journal Center of China Culture Daily and the director of its Theory Department, the vice president of Chinese Poetry Association, and a member of the Poetry Committee of Chinese Writers Association. His works include Biography of Gong Mu, Mastery of Rhythmic Poetry, Mastery of Lyrics, Becoming a Fresh Flower, China’s Centurial Emotional Climate, Essays of the Scholars’ Circle and so on.

The court is lush with green,
The room warmed by the sun,
Happy is everyone.
The peach twigs their fine fragrance sway,
Moving their shadows lean.
The Chinese toon misty
Lets out sprouts with sheen
A honey mood like this
Enjoys life every hour;
Every inch of good time is a good flower.
While fine it is,
In bamboo or parasol trees,
Let’s sit, taste melon, please.

Morning glories all o’er the hedge sprawl
Whate’er they are,
Let ice and frost heartily fall.
The star twinkling, the moon on high,
See them grow rice and maize.
The sky wild, the land old
Our ease pleases the haze.
The hustle and bustle,
What dust and what a din
Don’t deplore true feelings like a gauze thin.
In the fairyland
The original move is clean,
A gem, a flawless brand.
